Images of old Wills and documents on Virginia Pioneers.com

Victoria, Virginia in Lunenburg County
A large percentage of the present US population are descended from Virginians.  That is because Jamestown was settled in 1607 and over 400 years of history has preceded us.  The early colonists came to America along the eastern seaboard of the New England States, Virginia and the Carolinas. For this reason, the genealogist digs into the old records. Virginia Pioneers is the only genealogy website which contains images of the old  last wills and testaments, as well as other documents.  The deed records were recently added to Princess Anne County. Plans are to expand by adding more county wills and deeds. The old wills and estates are replete with family information. Those guys even named distant relatives in England, Scotland, the Barbadoes, and other countries!  This is why it is so important to read the old wills.

Need more time to sort things out? A good deal for genealogists needing to read old Virginia Wills and other helpful family data. 6 months subscription to Virginia Pioneers for $54.00. Subscribe to Virginia Pioneers.net and view wills and other documents online
